Irish Seafarer Tax rules are very different to the UK rules. It is likely to get even  more different after Brexit.  If you are an Irish Seafarer, working as a diver, Marine Engineer, Rigger, Ships Officer….  then make sure you know the Irish rules at the very least.

This applies to anyone working abroad really, but particularly those in the Oil and Gas Industries, Cruise Ships, Superyachts and Merchant  Marine. There is also a bonus section that relates to Flight Crew this year.

Any queries, just complete my 2 Minute Seafarer Questionnaire on this link

Be aware the more you know, the easier it will be for me to help you as you will be sharper about what documents to keep, and what to be looking out for. The Iris Seafarer rules are very different to the UK rules, so don’t fall into the 183 day trap.
